  Anglicans for Life Canada

Anglicans for Life Canada is affiliated with Anglicans for Life headquartered in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. It seeks to rouse Anglicans to actively support a culture of life and oppose the culture of death that now grips our nation – manifest in unfettered killing of the unborn at all stages of life, as well as growing calls for euthanasia.

Why should you get involved?
Anglicans for Life Canada director, the Rev Vicky Hedelius offers three reasons—“because we’re Christians, because we’re Canadians, and because we’re Anglican!”

In the face of the growing horror of 30 million+ Canadian infants destroyed before birth and the increasing clamour for euthanasia, we must shake off our apathy and indifference. God calls us to share the Good News and to do justice and love mercy (Micah 6:8), and to care for orphans and widows (James 1:27). Who is more an orphan than the child about to be destroyed in his or her mother’s womb? And who is more a widow than the woman whos partner is coercing her to snuff out the life inside her womb?
