The first Anglican Book of Common Prayer (BCP) was written largely by Thomas Cranmer in the 16th century. It has endured to this day and offered a Biblical, Gospel-centered pattern for Christians to worship and pray each day.
Below you can find more information about the history of the BCP, access resources to supplement our Morning and Evening Prayer booklet, follow the daily offices online, and download or order a copy of the complete BCP 2019.
