Anglican Introduction to Missions is a six part small group curriculum produced this year by ACNA to assist every parish to explore global missions. This introductory course will bring to light the rich theological, historical, cultural, and strategic aspects of global missions with a focus on the Anglican Communion. The purpose of this study group is to assist every follower of Jesus in the Anglican Church in North America to meaningfully engage in global missions either through: prayer, welcoming, sending or supporting the mission of Jesus around the world. We will explore the biblical foundations of missions, the history of Anglican missions, and the opportunities today.
Join us for this six part series to be held on Thursday evenings, beginning on January 16th at 8pm (EST) on Zoom. This is being offered to all parishes in the Anglican Diocese of Canada. There is no cost except for the Student Book which can be ordered from Amazon. Each session will be about 70 minutes in length.
The Anglican Introduction to Missions is particularly beneficial for parish outreach & mission committees and anyone with a heart for global missions. Attending this study group through the season of Epiphany will be a meaningful way to prepare for World Mission Sunday on February 23rd.
