ARDFC – Coffee & goodies are normally donated for our weekly after worship gathering, and any funds that end up in the coffee jar given to ARDFC. Again, because in 2020 and the first part of 2021 we were largely unable to have face to face worship and coffee hour, donations for ARDFC were received directly and then passed on.

Cuba – Holy Cross and its members personally have been in association with one or two Cuban congregation since the beginning of our mission partnerships. We have also assisted significantly with the water filter and Med-Pack ministries. Holy Cross is providing salary for the Pastor of Christ the Redeemer, the Reverend Ramiro Godalez and his wife, Eva.  Other donations from the congregation provide funds for Diocesan administration & recently emergency donations for food.  Canon Barclay is the Coordinator of the Cuba Mission and each year he leads 6 to 8 interested individuals on a mission trip to Cuba to see what the needs are and to build relationships with the lay pastors, deacons, priests, and their families.  If you would be interested in participating in a mission trip, please contact Canon Barclay.

Mission work, both local and offshore, are an important part of the ministry of Church of the Holy Cross, representing approximately 12% of our congregation’s budget in 2020. This figure is much higher, as most of our parish families are very mission minded and participate in other projects that do no go through the church’s books.
