After completing studies at Wycliffe College (Toronto), Tom served in the Anglican Church of Canada in the Diocese of Calgary (1979-2002) then moved to North Bay, Ontario where he was Rector of St Brice’s. In the spring of 2007, he became Rector of St Aidan’s Windsor.
Tom and Yvonne have three adult children, and 4 grandkids. He enjoys motorcycling, computers, murder mysteries, good movies and travelling with Yvonne.
“I came into the Anglican Church when I was 15,” says Tom. “At that time I was struck by the depth and beauty of the Prayer Book worship and by how scripturally based it was. Over the years I have not found another church that holds together the richness of our Apostolic heritage, Scriptural foundation, Reformation principles and missionary spirit in quite the same way. I believe that the Anglican Church, when it is true to its spiritual DNA is a uniquely powerful instrument for proclaiming the gospel and building up the body of Christ. I am grateful for what God has done to raise up the Anglican Network in Canada and our province, the Anglican Church in North America, so we can continue to live and proclaim the gospel in communion with other faithful Anglicans throughout the world.”
