Ordination Service in England

On December 7, 2017, a significant event in the life of the Church and ANiC will take place in London, England. The Anglican Mission in England (AMiE) will be holding its first ordination service led by the newly consecrated Missionary Bishop, Andy Lines.

Bishop Andy was consecrated in June by the Anglican Church in North America and the GAFCON Primates and is a part of the diocese of the Anglican Network in Canada.

The ordination service on December 7 will see nine men ordained. In a statement on their website the AMiE has described the service this way:

“The ordination service on 7th December will be a celebration of the commissioning and sending out of new ministers of the gospel, who have gone through a process of rigorous discernment and training. We are praying that these newly ordained leaders will be used by God to grow his church both in number and maturity. Some will serve in existing AMiE congregations, while others will lead teams engaged in planting new churches.”

Please Pray

Please pray for this service and all involved. Pray that it would go forward as a wonderful time of celebration and commissioning; that the Lord would bless Bishop Andy Lines, who will be leading the service, and Bishop Trevor Walters, who will be taking part. Let us pray that it will be a glorious time full of the presence and grace and blessing of God.
