The Venerable Tim Parent
Archdeacon for Northern and Eastern Ontario/Quebec
Tim currently serves as rector of St Luke’s Anglican Church, Pembroke, Ontario. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1990 and has served parishes in Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. He has also served as a youth pastor, worked in university chaplaincy, served on team in Wholeness Through Christ Ministries, and led a variety of retreats and outreach events.
Tim and his wife Jane, who is an ordained deacon in ANiC, have 2 cats, a garden, and many books which they enjoy at their home on the outskirts of Pembroke. Tim is a passionate football fan - go Green Bay Packers! He is also a water enthusiast, spending as much time in the summer as possible by, on or in the water.
Tim's passions in ministry include evangelism, inner healing, youth ministry, and pastoral care. He has a wholistic approach to parish ministry as he longs for the local church to resemble the early church of Acts 2:42-47, to be the church the Lord desires us to be.
Tim gives thanks for God's goodness in leading him into ANiC. He has found great healing and encouragement in belonging to such a Bible-based, Spirit-filled and mission-oriented fellowship, and counts it a privilege to serve the Lord together with his brothers and sisters in ANiC.
