The Venerable Rob Szo

Archdeacon for Vancouver Island

Rob is the rector of Church of Our Lord, Victoria and archdeacon for Vancouver Island. He was ordained in 1996 and before moving to Victoria, he served churches in New Brunswick and Ontario. Along the way he also served as President of Scripture Union.

Before he became a Christian he was confronted by two Bible passages. Proverbs 9:10 challenged his self-help approach to spiritual matters, and Mark 8:27-29 challenged him to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9).  

He is married to Christine and they have two teenaged children.
